Finally some snow

Poor Gary was post call yesterday and only got two hours of sleep when we made him get dressed and go play out side.  We were all so glad he did- Natalie LOVED it.  When we finally had to come in to get ready for dinner, Natalie cried and tried to go back out herself.  I am working on trying to convince myself to be ambitious this afternoon and take her out myself since Gary is at work.  

Ortho kids

Just wanted to share this picture from tonight. Second year of Ortho residency is their "busy" (bad) year so us wives try to get together to hang out (vent). The kids have a great time as well. We made them take a break from playing to sit for one quick picture. Hey, they are all looking at least.

And ladies we will need to update the picture so we will have to plan another get together soon.

Natalie's Practice

Nat is really getting excited for her baby brother or sister.  She seems to be understanding more than I was anticipating she would at this time.  She certainly knows where the baby is and she seems to understand that some of the new things around the house are just for the baby.  She just loves babies and we hope that her excitement continues when she fully realizes the baby is coming home to stay, for good.  Yesterday she was practicing on her baby doll.  We may have to work on not feeding an infant Lucky Charms but hey we will get there.   Odd lighting but I think it worked anyway!

PS- Officially full term today- this baby is welcome to arrive whenever they want!!!

Cocca Castle

This weekend the weather was beautiful so we, along with many others, took advantage and headed to the playground.  This was the first time Natalie has been at Cocoa Castle since she was mobile and Gary's first time there as well.  They both loved it.

Baby #2 Ultrasound

So I owe baby #2 some more blog time.  Today seems like an appropriate day since I got to see our baby yet AGAIN.  With Natalie we really only had 1 ultrasound.  Baby #2 apparently likes to be photographed but never wants to give a great profile look.  Today was my 4th full ultrasound.  After U/S #1, the baby didn't want to show their spine so we got to go back a week later.  5 weeks ago they said my belly was measuring small so I had to get another ultrasound for sizing and the same thing occurred this week.  Fortunately (though not great for me while in labor) this baby is looking big, not small like they were concerned.  I will be 36 weeks on Monday and today they ESTIMATED the baby at 6 pounds, 13 ounces (86%).  Oh boy, I hope their weight gain slows down a bit or I hope they decide to come early!!!

Fun with Cousins

Natalie got to spend a lot of time with her cousins this past weekend and she loved it.  Colton is AMAZING with her- always wanting to help her, play with her and he was so incredibly patient.  Natalie loved Josiah as well and just kept giving him kisses.  We had to work on not pulling his pacifier out to kiss him cause he was not a fan of that but otherwise he didn't seem to mind her loving.  She also got to see her second cousins?? (my cousins kids) and had a great time running around with them as well.
