New Adventures at Hershey Park

Gary had today off (yay for us) cause he hasn't had the required amount of days off this month.  It was wonderful to have him home mid week.  We took advantage of the nice weather and headed to Hershey Park.  It was my first time with an extra pair of hands and Gary's first time going with Natalie. We had so much fun- we were Hershey Park happy for 7 hours!!!  The kids loved it and did great.  And I think Natalie has now been on every ride that she is allowed to go on, and was on almost all of them today.  There are a few I wouldn't have taken her on but Daddy was brave and Natalie even braver.  She is one fearless 2 year-old.  These are all videos- some are kind of long, sorry.

 Mini Log Flume

Flying Falcon- this is the ride I would have never taken her on.  Gary took a video as they were on it which I will try to post tomorrow.  She didn't cry but it doesn't look like she wants to go on it again anytime soon

Starship

Nat's favorite ride- the carrousel

Tilt-a-whirl- Again no crying but just gave us a look like "No thanks"

For my fellow Hershey Park goers she even went on the coal cracker (big log flume) with Daddy today and loved it.  I think we are going to have to watch out for this little girl when she gets older!!

I guess I was wrong

Austin and Natalie when they were first born looked almost identical.  It was hard to tell whose newborn picture was whose.  I really thought that their looks changed and in different directions.  I didn't think that Austin now looked like Natalie at 5 months at all.  I will leave you as the judge but I think I was wrong.

Sasha & Nat

I shared this picture on facebook but it is too cute not to share here as well.  Sasha really is the most patient dog ever and Natalie is so in love with her.  Here are some pictures of Natalie and Sasha over the past two years.  My how our little girl has grown up!!

Who needs a fly swatter?

We are having a serious problem with flies this past week.  Gary is comparing it to the stink bug infestation of Central Pennsylvania 1 or 2 summers ago.  We have no idea how they are getting in- we are convinced there is a nest somewhere.  No fun.  But watch these videos- they are quiet fun and amazing.  She is one determined 2 year old!!

So big

Here are a few random pictures from the last few days.  These pictures just make me a little sad cause they are both growing too fast.

Playing in their ball pit together- he looks almost as big as her!!

Sharing

The other day I asked Natalie to give Austin some toys to play with- this is what I found!!  Such a great big sister- and the most tolerant and compliant "little" brother!!

Potty Training Attempt 1

Isn't this how you do it in your house?

Stickers and Bandaids as rewards!!

This girls needs an iPhone and snacks while she goes

She is doing very well- I am just having a hard time sticking to the no diaper around the house (apparently this is the new technique for potty training).  Somebody please tell me they did the no pants/no diaper and that it worked and your carpets and furniture survived.  Cause I tried it for a few hours and then went back to the diaper as backup.

We have been blessed with the sweetest little girl who is excited to be a big sister any day now. Gary is still trucking through his second year of residency and I am fortunate enough to be staying home with our little ones.
