Week 25

Well what a week!  I honestly can't remember this much snow since 1996 (that makes me feel old!!!)  Sasha and I got snowed in from Tuesday night till Thursday morning.  She enjoyed the extra sleep time while I was going crazy- I needed to get out by Thursday morning.  Fortunately Gary made it home for the weekend.  Only two more weeks down in Allentown and then hopefully no more away rotations!

Today our little one was very active.  They were almost kicking constantly.  It was actually a little refreshing though because yesterday I was worried that the baby was not moving around as much!  I guess they are allowed to have tired and energetic days just like I do.  Fortunately I have been feeling great lately.  I have been so lucky through this whole pregnancy.  I expect that as I get further along my energy level may start to decrease but so far I have been able to continue with almost everything at work and at home.  These past few months Gary and I have gotten so much done.

On to the baby, he or she has reached 13.5 inches and one and a half pounds.  It is crazy to think that babies born at 25 weeks can survive.  They are still just so tiny.  Our little one is starting to fill out and put on a little baby fat but as you can tell they have a long way to go.  I am getting close to my third trimester.  The one website classifies me as month 6 at this point but I would say I have another week and a half till I hit month 6.  Anyway it is the website I get my fruit/vegetable comparisons from so I will share.

Sorry there is not much else to report on this week.  Hope everyone is doing well and lets just hope for no more big snow storms this year.  Have a great week.  Here is the week 25 shot- I will post a different one than I posted in the bump pics.

We have been blessed with the sweetest little girl who is excited to be a big sister any day now. Gary is still trucking through his second year of residency and I am fortunate enough to be staying home with our little ones.
