Match Day

I apologize for not getting around to post the results of our match yesterday.  Gary and I had a GREAT day yesterday...thus meaning Gary matched in Orthopaedic Surgery at Hershey, his #1 choice, and we do not have to move!!!  We are so thrilled.  Penn State has an exceptional orthopaedic training program.  We feel that Hershey's program is the perfect fit for Gary and he is truly excited to become a part of it (aside from the benefit of location!)  He starts July 1st, so we hope that baby doesn't wait too long to make their appearance so he has some time at home with the baby and I before he starts!

Here are some pictures for the days events.

We hosted a pre-match day brunch at our house prior to the event!  Here is part of the group at the mimosa toast!

Here is Gary and I at Match Day, Hershey Country Club

Our table shot minus myself, the photographer for the day!

And depending on where you live, you may have seen Gary's picture in the newspaper!  He was in both the Centre Daily Times (State College) as well as the Patriot News (Harrisburg).

We have been blessed with the sweetest little girl who is excited to be a big sister any day now. Gary is still trucking through his second year of residency and I am fortunate enough to be staying home with our little ones.
