I unfortunately do not have a whole lot to write about this week. The next two weeks on the other hand I will have plenty. Later this week we have our 28 week appointment which includes my glucose tolerance test. We are also seeing a physician who Gary is familiar with that we have a few questions to ask him regarding labor/work etc. The following week is match week so we will learn if in fact we get to stay at Hershey for another 5 years. Only 10 more days!
We did get away this weekend to the Pocono's with Brad and Jen. We had a great weekend. The guys got to go skiing on Saturday which was a beautiful day while Jen and I did a lot of shopping. I picked out a few more things for our little one, but also found a dress for my shower as well as a dress for Gary's graduation. We had great weather all weekend as well as today. It is making me very anxious for spring and summer. I am really looking forward to taking our little one on walks while I am on maternity leave.
Our baby this week is 2 and a 1/4 pounds and 14.8 inches long. He or she is now able to blink their eyes and their eyelashes have developed. They are beginning to be able to detect light that is filtering in through my womb. Billions of neurons are developing in their brain and body fat is continuing to be deposited to prepare them for life on their own. It is amazing how quickly he or she is growing at this point.
I am sorry for such a boring post and I don't even have a picture to post yet. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will be able to take a belly shot. I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying this beautiful weather.
Well here is the picture from this morning. As you can tell it is not my best picture. I have been feeling a little under the weather and have quite the cold. I look like rudolph with my red nose (and it is even more red this evening!)

Hey Wen! Thought I'd post a comment on your blog before it's too late and little baby Updegrove is here! You look amazing and you're getting sooo close! Enjoy that glucose screening test this week. Make sure you put that orange stuff on ice... it's the only way I got it down. Love you!
